Happy 70th Birthday, Kathy!Out on the Portico lawn, a lovely group of 10 ladies celebrated a special birthday in style - Sotterley style! With absolutely no humidity, a soft breeze rolled up the hill from the Patuxent River, as this wonderful group of friends enjoyed High Tea. Raising their china cups with pinkies properly extended, they enjoyed delicious finger foods, cake, and each other's light-hearted company. How joyful to hear the giggles!
True, Sotterley is best known for her important educational programs, for her eight major annual events, for her tours of the Plantation House, Colonial Revival Gardens, and Slave Cabin, for being the site of many weddings and corporate events, but she extends herself to suit any occasion.
