So many incredible things have
happened here this year!
Because
of your support, Historic Sotterley welcomed thousands to the site for events
and programs - many for the very first time. You made it possible for us to
share explorations and great moments of discovery with thousands of children
and families. Open and honest dialogue about slavery and race relations
continues through our Common Ground, Connected Heritage outreach events. You
helped us introduce a new event and revamp an old one. Together with
volunteers, we dug up potatoes - a lot of potatoes. We had informative and
entertaining presenters on a wide variety of topics during our speaking
series. Because of your generosity, we received countless compliments from
people about our fascinating and historically accurate tours.
With
your help we will be able to engage even more people - near and far. We will
continue working on our site to keep it beautiful and safe for all to enjoy.
We will have many more opportunities to learn, to share, to explore, to
innovate, and to grow this place with you.
