Pre-Valentine’s Fly-In Farmer’s Market

Pre-Valentine’s Fly-In Farmer’s Market
sponsored by Historic Sotterley

Step up your Valentine’s gift giving game and shop at the Pre-Valentine’s Fly-In Farmer’s Market on Saturday, February 9th  between 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport!

“Our first Fly-In Farmer’s Market took flight! With such an overwhelmingly positive response to our first event at the airport right before Christmas, we decided to go ahead with two additional winter markets,” stated Nancy Easterling, Executive Director of Historic Sotterley.

Visit this unique Fly-In Farmer’s Market on Saturday, February 9th and March 16th. “This is something that St. Mary’s County wants to support to showcase the great lifestyle we enjoy here while showcasing the high technology and aerospace capability for companies that are located here, or may want to move here” said Chris Kaselemis, St. Mary’s Director of Economic Development. He added that with a living museum such as Sotterley leading this event, it captures our past, present and future. Very few events embrace the rural characteristics of Southern Maryland while highlighting the role our region has had in developing our nation’s air and space technologies.
