Experience the beauty of fall on a birding excursion on Historic Sotterley’s scenic and historic Patuxent River property. Bald Eagles, migrant songbirds, lingering meadowlarks, sparrows and waterfowl can be found on Sotterley’s extensive trail system and natural habitats. There is no charge for this event, although donations are always appreciated.

Directions: From Rt. 235, go north on Sotterley Road, turn right through gates to the Historic Sotterley. Proceed to the right to the Visitors’ Center parking lot. Please RSVP by the 22nd to David at moulton.davidh@gmail.com or 240-278-4473.

Join us for a fall excursion of birding at Sotterley! David Moulton and Michael Patterson will lead you through our extensive new trail system, which is home to Bald Eagles, migrant songbirds, and lingering meadowlarks and sparrows. Beginners welcome!

The Southern Maryland Audubon Society, David Moulton, Michael Patterson, and Sotterley are teaming up once again to offer this fascinating birding walk.
